Career

In 1962 he graduated from the Belarusian State University. VI Lenin, with a degree of "economic geography".In 1972 she defended her thesis on "Socio-economic study of the birth rate of the Belarussian Soviet Socialist Republic" and received the degree of "Candidate of Economic Sciences" specialty Stats.In 1975, she was awarded the title of "Senior Research Fellow" in economics and population demographics.In 1997 she defended her doctoral thesis on "Socio-demographic processes on the territory of Belarus in the period of transition" and received the degree of "Doctor of Social Sciences" in the specialty - Social structure, social institutes and processes.In 2003, she was awarded the title of "Professor" in "economy".

She is an honorary member of the Belarusian Statistical Association (Bachelor of Scientific Agriculture), a member of the Independent Council on Migration in the CIS and Baltic countries at the Center for Population Sciences, member of the European Association for Population Studies.She was a delegate to the First Congress of Scientists of Belarus. Has published more than 300 scientific papers
