John Robert Cocker
He was active in supporting the Orange Revolution. In the early parliamentary elections on September 30, 2007 he appeared as an independent candidate on the Our Ukraine–People's Self-Defense Bloc's list (as nr 15). In the Verkhovna Rada (Ukrainian parliament) he was a member of the parliamentary committee for freedom of speech questions. In early September 2008 he renounced his seat in the Verkhovna Rada due to the political situation.[

He graduated school №4 in L'vov with in-depth study of English with a silver medal.
1991-1996 - studied at the Physics Department of Lviv University (specialization - a theoretical physicist.) The second higher education - international economy.
1996 - enrolled in the graduate department of theoretical physics at the same university. Thesis - "Supersymmetry of electrons in a magnetic field"

- For several years the magazine "Reporter" enrolls S. Vakarchuk in one hundred most influential people of Ukraine - as the frontman of the most popular rock groups, and citizens with an active lifestyle.
