Afroz Ahmad, Indian environmental scientist. Achievements include first to use the application of Environmental Impact Assessment in India; development of strategies and technologies based on ecosystems approach for management of natural resources for ensuring sustainable development; development of natural resources and resettlement of human population displaced due to major dam projects on river Narmada.
