Career
- In 1961 he became a student of Mathematical Department of Belarus State University (BSU).In 1966 he graduated from the Department and was admitted to the Graduate School of BSU.In 1970 he defended his dissertation “Gauss problem and mixed problem with Gauss condition for linear differential equation with two time variables”, and was granted degree “Candidate of Sciences in Physics and Mathematics” (in “Differential and Integral Equations”).Since 1982, he is a Doctor of Sciences in Physics and Mathematics, after defending his doctoral dissertation “A method of energetic inequalities in differential-operatoral equations research” on February 18,1982 in Mathematical Institute of Academy of Sciences of USSR, Moscow.He is a professor since 1983. Since 1982 he is chair of the Mathematical Physics Equations Department of BSU.He was chair of the Mechanics and Mathematics Department in 1982-1985 and 1966-2007.

Laureate of State Prize of the Republic of Belarus in the field of Science and Technology 1996
Honored Worker of Science of Belarus, in 1987 he was awarded the Badge of Honor,
Academician Petrovsky Academy of Arts and Sciences.
He has supervised 2 doctoral and 15 master's theses.
